Pipe tanks in stainless steel
Pipe tanks in stainless steel are the ideal solution and a guarantee of maximum retention of water quality. Stainless steel is inert and has been tried and tested in the field of drinking water storage with HydroSystemTanks® set up in the building.
Smaller horizontal, underground water stroage pipe tanks in various designs can be used for applications in which buildings cannot be built with upright tanks or for smaller storage systems. In this case the water is actually stored in one or more stainless steel pipe tanks in quality Duplex 1.4162/S32101 (Lean Duplex). Depending on the installation situation, the pickled and passivated pipe tanks can be given a full coat of high-grade protective paint or protected with drainage matting order to protect the outer skin. .
HydroSystemTanks® as pipe tanks are available in various designs:
- HST-L: Single storage tank with integrated control room / installation room
- HST-LB: Single storage tank with concrete room cell as the control room / installation room
- HST-LB/DUO oder TRIO: Two or three storage tanks with concrete room cell as the control room / installation room
HST-L pipe tank with integrated installation room
In the case of this pipe tank, the installation and operating chamber is integrated into the rørtank. Access to the installation room is gained either from above via a dome or via a door at ground level. The size of the operating room is adapted to the space required for installation. The storage tank can be accessed from the operating room through a manhole. Ventilation is provided by a high-performance filter – either directly or via the siphoned tank overflow. The integrated lighting with inspection glass allows excellent visual monitoring of the tank contents. If two rørtanks are required, the installation room is positioned in the middle.
HST-LB pipe tank with concrete room cell
The installation and operating room of this underground pipe tank is a generously dimensioned prefabricated concrete room cell. All connections and the DN 800 manhole to access the tank are grouped together in a rectangular connetor panel. Access in the control room is gained via a door at ground level. The size of the operating room is adapted to the space required for installation and the arrangement of the tanks. Pre-fabricated stainless steel frames are embedded in concrete to connect the tank. The pipe tank´s connector panel is inserted into this frame and fully welded to the frame all around its circumference.
Example:
Pipetank Type HST-LB UNO with concrete room cell
Multiple pipe tanks HST-LB/DUO with concrete room cell
The HST-LB/DUO (or TRIO) horizontal storage tanks has 2 or 3 pipe tanks and a prefabricated concrete room cell installed in front. This design is available for tank systems of up to 3 x 100 m³.
Example:
Type HST-LB DUO horizontal pipe tank with concrete room cell

Customised solutions through the modular system
You can combine several underground pipe tanks in different ways. So, the optimal solution can be created for each respective geographical conditions.
